《離家不遠》由導演符宏征及演員熔鑄自身的家庭記憶，集體發展創作而成。透過拆解重現日常寫實的家族群像，揭開人們為何以愛為名卻暴力相向。故事描述一群兩代同堂的家族成員，因家中長者往生而重新團聚，隨著一場不斷變奏的同桌晚餐，在手足積怨、親子衝突、借貸分產等家務事重提之際，親人間原被壓抑於表面和諧之下的舊恨新傷接續引爆，終致整個家族的頹傾崩毀。演出形式以肢體的寫意表現為經，家庭通俗劇的戲劇文本為緯，為符宏征實踐其「肢體劇場」美學的全新風格表白。

Nowhere Near is a collective work based on the family stories of the director Fu Hong-Zheng and all the actors. The play reconstructs and re-visualizes the daily scenes of the family portraits, revealing how people treat each other with violence in the name of love. The story begins with a family reunion while the two generations all rush back home because a family elder has just passed away. On the dinner table, conflict ramps up while secrets are revealed. Family issues between siblings, parents, children, or even about the division of the family property are brought up again to unbury the trauma, triggering the conflict while a harmonious family relationship can no longer be pretended. The performance style integrates the poetic physical movement and the melodramatic text, fully realizing Fu Hong-Zheng’s practice of his “physical theatre aesthetics.”
